U14A Cup Final:
Villa 3-1 De La Salle

Nice way to finish the season for our 14A squad by completing a double to go along with our SFAI Regional Cup win. After a very flat first half where we weren’t up to our expected standards, we still managed to get in at half time a goal ahead, Conor McCabe finishing off well following a Tom Spain through ball. We started the second half much better but were pegged back level by a resolute De La Salle side when a long free kick was flicked on into our box for their attacker to finish. This proved to be the moment that forced our lads to up their level of performance all over the pitch and we were rewarded shortly afterwards when Bassit Ishola was taken down in the box and Conor McCabe slotted the penalty away. Conor completed his cup final hat trick shortly afterwards with a well taken finish from just inside the box. 
These lads have played some real top quality football over the course of the season and have showed fantastic character when it mattered at the business end of the season.
